Roles and Responsibilities of different Heads

Zonal Head

  1. Responsible for supervising and reviewing SHs activities.
  2. Responsible for providing feedback, suggestions to SHs.
  3. Conduct regular meeting with SHs.
  4. Visiting different States/Cities and meeting local volunteers.
  5. Review and approve funds if required for running/conducting the activities (traveling to different cities, arranging snacks, booking venues etc)
  6. Submitting consolidated monthly report to Country Head

State Head

  1. Responsible for supervising and reviewing DHs activities.
  2. Responsible for providing feedback, suggestions to DHs.
  3. Conduct regular meeting with DHs.
  4. Visiting different cities and meeting local volunteers.
  5. Review and approve funds if required for running/conducting the activities (traveling to different cities, arranging snacks, booking venues etc)
  6. Submitting consolidated monthly report to Zonal Head.

District Head

  1. Responsible for supervising and reviewing district level activities.
  2. Responsible for providing feedback, suggestions to volunteers under his supervision.
  3. Should support regular volunteers completing their tasks.
  4. Assigning tasks to sub-ordinates as per the capabilities.
  5. Conducting Volunteers Development Program quarterly.
  6. Conduct regular meeting with volunteers.
  7. Identification of the new speakers from call for volunteers, weekly session.
  8. Collaboration with different likeminded NGOs to conduct various educational and job oriented programs.
  9. Review and approve funds if required for running/conducting the activities (transportation, arranging snacks, booking venues etc)
  10. Should be leading different activities/programs within his jurisdiction.
  11. Submitting consolidated monthly report to State Head.

Volunteers

  1. Perform assigned tasks as delegated by the DH.
  2. Should support co-volunteers completing their tasks.
  3. Attend meetings regularly and share new ideas, learning, thoughts etc.
  4. Identification of the new speakers from call for volunteers, weekly session.
  5. Collaboration with different likeminded NGOs to conduct various educational and job oriented programs.
  6. Should be leading different activities/programs
  7. Should be part of coordinating for weekly sessions, school/college session and any other events.

Speaker

Media Coordinator/Spoke Person

  1. Coordinating with print and electronic media to make ensure all our programs are covered/published.
  2. Updating content on all social media platforms (eg: FB, WhatsApp, Twitter, Linkedin Instagram, Youtube etc).
  3. Promoting CGC at different social media platforms.
  4. Responsible for answering queries raised on any social media platform.

CSR Lead

  1. Meeting and presenting CGC activities to different employers/institutions.
  2. Identify and explore new Employers/NGOs for association with CGC.
  3. Need to regularly check with the volunteers for any prospect in their companies and take it to the next level.
  4. Follow up with the existing CSR partners to continue and increase activities.

Volunteer Fellowship

  1. Assist volunteers in completing their assigned tasks.
  2. Consistently attend all CGC events/Activities.
  3. Should show commitment towards the work assigned.
  4. Network and get the new individuals for such intern opportunity.

Registered in the year 2008, Career Guidance Council (CGC) is a non-profit organization, which provides platform for students and jobs seekers to connect with the professionals from industries who share their experiences and ideas for the benefit of students and jobs seekers.
